Notations From the Grid: On #uselection watch updates....

Our team just saw this that the Jeb Bush Campaign reported:

Although this is interesting, the Poll numbers continue to drop despite donor monies coming in and there is no return on investment.     Jeb Bush seems to be falling apart and Trump continues to dominate at the expense of the so-called Establishment candidates.   His numbers are less than Ben Carson and Bernie Sanders on the Democratic Side.
This is as Yesterday, for instance, saw Donald Trump on MSNBC and Ivanka Trump on CNN. The other candidates seem to be non-entities.    One example is   Rand Paul.   Erick Erickson came out and said--get out now and save your seat in Kentucky.

This is as the campaign on the Democratic Side continues to gather steam.    The E-Mail controversy, though, is continuing as epitomized by this our team received from the National Review:

A previously unknown e-mail address used by Huma Abedin was discovered on Thursday, just hours before the top Hillary Clinton aide prepares to testify in front of the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

Notations From the Grid: On Human Rights in #Iran & #RaiseYourVoice

Our team has been hitting the "Virtual Ground" running.     We have been assessing the "U-Turn" in Afghanistan as we have also been assessing the situation in Iran as well.

Our Founder has been on the prowl lending his name to the case of the Washington Post' Jason Rezayian.  He has been sentenced and he finished an update in his corner on the situation earlier.    There is also the continued problems with Justice in Iran generally epitomized by this "from the Grid" as well which our team is pursuing:

“These sentences show that repression in Iran is intensifying,” said Hadi Ghaemi, executive director of the...

Notations on Our World: On the "Virtual Ground" with #Israel & #Palestine

As our team has "hit the ground" running on Daily Outsider 2.x, the journey continues.    One of our current projects is the on-going challenging times in Israel right now.     The Israeli Prime Minister has been spreaheading new tough security measures to stem the violence--although he did come out earlier and said he is willing to meet with Palestine's Mahmoud Abbas to try and calm the situation.   Our assessment is that such moves at best will be temporary as the broad challenges facing both societies continues.

Our team released a report on +i24news EN with a very disturbing poll noting that over 50% of Israeli's have no faith in the Two State Solution.    As the "iron fist" in Israel continues to be ever so evident, it is of interest to note that there is yet to be a arrest in the fire bombing of the home of the Palestinian Family as the Defense Minister said recently, "....we know who they are..." as one sense of the reality was released by @Peace Now:

The Failure of Bibi's "Conflict Management"

No Israeli can stay indifferent to the tragedy and pain caused by the terror attacks of the last few weeks. But especially during these difficult days we must remember the roots of the deterioration we are experiencing today.

For over 6 years the Netanyahu governments have been doing everything in their power to prevent the possibility for compromise and reconciliation - going up to the Temple Mount, continuing settlement expansion, retroactively legalizing illegal outposts, ignoring hilltop youth who take the law into their own hands, and turning their back to moderate Palestinians - and now all of this explode in our faces.

The only way to prevent further deterioration is through separating into two states. Only a political process that will lead to the end of our control over millions of Palestinians will end the bloody conflict between the two peoples and allow Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace and quiet. There is simply no other solution.
This Saturday Peace Now will be holding a demonstration in Tel Aviv to protest the government policies and call for a different way - that of compromise, end of occupation and two states.

19:30, Kaplan Street, Tel Aviv.

Over the past months Peace Now led several tours to East Jerusalem in order to help stakeholders, activists and the general public understand the reasons behind the current deterioration. The tours focused on the main points of contention, with a particular emphasis on the situation in Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif and settlers' takeover in Batan Al-Hawa in Silwan.

Click here for an article in The Independent based on a tour with Peace Now's Settlement Watch to learn more about the current situation in Silwan. Peace Now continues to work in order to prevent a drastic change in the area by bringing the issue to stakeholders' attention and creating public pressure around it.

The Opposition leader, MK Herzog, underscored that the intifadah has begun and also called for an "iron hand".     What was perceptive was this on @Al-Monitor  that underscored how times have changed:

Notations From the Grid: On the aftermath of the CNN #DemDebate

As our team has launched the transformation of #outsiders,  our work to reflect upon the challenges of our World continues.    The CNN #DemDebate is now history.

The opening statements were quite interesting.   Anderson Cooper was quite tough on all five candidates calling them to task on issues on trust and their records as he began.      There has been a wide array of reporting and some of them we released earlier in our Twitter Feed (@DailyOutsider).  What we felt was quite poignant was the leading Nevada Political Analyst Jon Ralston that our founder released to his personal twitter feed:

The +National Rifle Association was also "on the job" with its' view as Senator Sanders was taken to task on his vote on Guns by Hillary Clinton:

This was as Donald Trump was also "Tweeting" and one of his comments was classic Trump:

Interesting times....

We are grateful for all the support and very excited about the opportunity to serve as we look to a future that is ever so bright:

Notations For the weekend: On Elections in #Canada

The voting is continuing in Canada.  The Key leaders have been working to scramble every vote.    Justin Trudeau having been on the road as reported here is just one indication of this zealous push to the end:

The Leader of the NDP sent this out late last week after he cast his vote:
Today, I voted for change.

Notations On Our World : On US Election Scene (On the Eve of the Democratic Debate)

The Democratic Debate is less than 18 hours away.    The candidates have been making the rounds. Bernie Sanders was on Meet the Press to discuss his views.   Hillary Clinton was on BuzzFeed which was given prominence on MSNBC.    The Wynn Hotel is gearing up in a major way for th big day tomorrow.

What was interesting was President Obama's interview on 60 Minutes last minute.   Steve Kroft was combative and tough--which was surprising for a so-called "Liberal Media" in how it took President Obama to task over a number of profound setbacks in the Middle East.   This is especially as Afghanistan continues to be in a state of total chaos.   27 out of the 34 provinces in Afghanistan are in trouble.

The Republicans have been on the prowl as well.    Republican candidates appeared at No Labels to tout their own view.   It was interesting as the so-called "outsiders" continue to hold their own including Dr. Carsons.     Some of Dr. Carson's more interesting comments were featured on a clip courtesy of the Guardian of London:

A number of the 2nd Tier candidates are continuing their efforts as well.   Governor Christie was at No Labels as Governor Jindhal uneviled his tax proposal:
Governor Jindal unveiled his tax reform plan to rave reviews from leading conservatives.
This week, Governor Jindal unveiled his tax reform plan to rave reviews from leading conservatives.

As is usually the case with sound conservative policy, liberal bloggers you’ve never heard of absolutely hated the Governor’s plan.

Governor Jindal’s plan is based on core conservative principles:
  1. Cutting the tax code down to just three simple brackets;

  2. Leveling the playing field so big corporations with lobbyists and lawyers can no longer get special deals that the rest of us can’t;

  3. And making sure that every American pays something into our system, so every American is invested in the government spending our tax dollars wisely.

The genius of America is that hard work and ingenuity are rewarded and enable people to succeed and make their own way in life. Independence, not dependence, is the root of the American Dream. It’s time we had the guts to say so in public.

Read the full Jindal tax plan here and tell us what you think:https://www.bobbyjindal.com/tax/

Have a great weekend,

Senior Advisor, Jindal for President

A fundarising call to action came out under Chelsea came out as well as outlined below:

Can you help my mom?
Mike --

My mom is my hero. From helping cut the uninsured rate for children in half as First Lady to later becoming the first female senator from New York and then running for president, she's kept fighting for families -- while also being a great mom.

I hope my daughter grows up to be as proud of me as I am of my mom.

That she's remained committed to making life better for women and children while being attacked by the other side for more than two decades is incredible and inspiring. I'm proud to stand with her in everything she does.

Tuesday is the first debate of the Democratic primary, where my mom will continue talking about her plans and ideas to make life better for American families. Here’s one way to let her know you have her back before the big day:Chip in $8 or more to stand with her and become a Debate Donor.

It's going to take a campaign as strong as my mom is to fight back against everything the other side is throwing at her, and to help us become the country we want to be. I can't tell you how much she'll appreciate your support at this critical moment.

Thank you,

Chelsea
