As we begin a new week here in #Outsiders, we wanted to begin by sharing this that Dr. King noted that we must continue to be aware of ever more:

View of the Week: On Not Giving Up.....

As we go "dark"and gear up for a new week throughout #Outsiders , we wanted to share this courtesy of +Jonathan Huie which we follow closely here @ #Outsiders that underscores some poignant advise as a new week dawns here throughout the #Outsiders network:

Don't give up.
There are too many nay-sayers out there who will try to discourage you.
Don't listen to them.
The only one who can make you give up is yourself.
- Sidney Sheldon

Keep moving. Don't stop. But don't rush.
Don't race around.
Sure and steady gets you there every time.
- Neale Donald Walsch

You make a mistake, you keep going.
- Linda Gray

Achievement seems to be connected with action.
Successful men and women keep moving.
They make mistakes, but they don't quit.
- Conrad Hilton

A Week-End Musical Interlude: Romancing The Stone

This is the theme from an "oldie" but "goodie" which we hope all enjoy as we gear up for the New week here in #Outsiders:

Week-End Notations On Our World: On #South Africa

We have been watching with horror the reports out of South Africa as the violence against Foreigners has continued to escalate.      It was of great interest that as our founder noted this while on the Daily assessment on the Grid that the Nelson Mandela Foundation sent out:
The challenge for South Africa is to somehow overcome this.   Despite the fact that it ceded its' number one position to Nigeria as Africa's biggest Economy, it is still noted as a beacon of light.  However, this is another unfortunate indication of the level of discontent that exists in the Country that has seen foreigners actually leaving South Africa.    Who will be attacked next? Whites?  Will Nelson Mandela's legacy be ruined by his successors?

Profound questions.....

Thought 4 the Week

An #Outsider Newsflash: Wikileaks Strikes Again

It was of profound concern as WikiLeaks struck with its' latest salvo on the Sony Hacking Scandal:

They assert it belongs "In the public Domain".    We here @ Outsiders are not clear as to what good it does.

Notations On Our World: A Challenging Day

It has been another bloody day in the Middle East.   A car bomb has exploded outside the US Consulate in Irbil as fighting continues to rage on in Anbar with Ramadi potentially being in danger of falling to Daesh hands.    This is as the horror of Iraq continues to startle ever more:

What is also interesting news is this:

His death is significant but how it impacts the fight with Daesh (also known as ISIS) as ISIS continues its' reign of terror in #Iraq and #Syria.   This is as the Iran deal continues to be challenging in lieu of the Congressional Action and with Greece potentially on the brink yet again.   Market losses were significant today especially as there are warning signs about the World before us.

Daily Notations from the Grid (II) : As #Clinton (#HRC) Begins Her Quest....

It was of interest as we assessed the view from the "Grid" on this to see how the "pundits" perceive #HRC (Our "hashtag" for Mrs. Clinton going forward) as she embarks upon her journey and the road ahead.   The contrast in these two editorials in the same paper was quite striking:

"Team Hillary's ascent to the Democratic nomination and White House isn't a certainty and challengers like former Gov....

Posted by The Hill on Thursday, April 16, 2015

"Clinton is offering presidential-level leadership to give voice and support to the powerful feeling of a large majority...

Posted by The Hill on Wednesday, April 15, 2015
Someone also referred to the strategy as "boring"--as some have said (including the Washington Post's Chris Cillizza)have noted the challenge with the E-Mail Controversy and some have also noted challenges with the work of the Clinton Foundation (as noted in a report from the Wall Street Journal yesterday): It will be interesting.....

Daily Notations From the Grid: #TIme100 is Out & Iran's Zarif Made the List....

The Time 100 is out for 2015.   Iran's Foreign Minister made the list:

What he has been involved with must be noted in this that was written by the Wilson Center's Robin Wright. If anyone can make the #IranDeal happen despite the current curveball thrown by the US Congress, he can.

Thought 4 the Week: On #Courage

An #Outsider Newsflash (4/14/2015): On the State of Religion & Faith Around the World....

The Daily Telegraph has just reported on a brand new poll w/Gallup on the State of Faith & Religion in the World.   The results are quite striking.   Please click on here for reference.....

Notations From the Grid (II): On the Prowl w/Presidential Candidates......

Marco Rubio also made it "officially Official" .    He's running for President and noted that he's ready to lead.    As he begins, Hillary Clinton has hit the "ground running" as noted by this we just saw making the rounds "On the Grid":

This is going to be fun!!!

Notations From the Grid: On Fires in #Siberia & Climate Change

One of the more disturbing news we've received here @ #Outsiders has been the raging fires in #Siberia.     The need to preserve our natural resources and enhance it is becoming ever so crucial on the eve of Earth Day 2015.

One very interesting statistic was underscored by +350.org which we support here # Outsiders.   What is noted is logic:

Yet, it appears that such evolution is not as critical on the mind of US @GOP hopefuls as Senator Rubio has been one of them who seems to not be as keen a supporter of Climate Change despite his own State being ever so challenged by it.

A Musical Interlude: Frank Sinatra - Ol' Man River

An #Outsider Newsflash (VI): As #Hillary is Off To The Races: The First Republican Responds....

Rand Paul has just responded:

As one "clicks on it", it goes directly to Senator Paul's Website to raise money--and supposedly he has raised around 1.7 Million Dollars when we here @Outsiders received this.  He seems to forget that he still has a primary he has to go through.

It will be continuing developing story--and fun to be witness

An #Outsider Newsflash (III): It is Officially Official!!! #Hillary is Running For President

It is available at hillaryclinton.com and it is a slick production that depicts the changing demographics of the United States Today:

Interesting times indeed.....

An #Outsiders Newsflash (II): On the US Political Scene

Hillary Clinton will announce today.   We are awaiting the "official word" on Twitter along with a video feed   Marco Rubio is announcing tomorrow as a number of others on the Republican have already announced and were at the National Rifle Association convention in Nashville this past week.   The Republicans have been attacking here already.

It is going to be an absolutely interesting and intriguing year before us.

An #Outsiders Newsflash: On #Yemen

Yemen continues to slide into anarchy hour by hour.    Saudi Arabia rejected Iran's call to halt the bombing campaign against the Houthis.    We here @ #Outsiders have reviewed reports of Iranian Military Advisers being captured as the fighting intensifies.      This is as Saudis lost five soldiers in a fight with the Houthis yesterday.

The story will be developing....

Notations On Our World: Brief Thoughts on the Summitt of the Americas & How a Picture is Worth A Thousand Words :-)

Raul Castro and Barack Obama have met.  It was so fabulous as Raul Castro noted how   he apologized to President Obama for being emotional about the Cuban Revoultion,  called President Obama an honest and humble man and how President Obama  had nothing to do with the problems in Cuba over the last 50 years.   It will be interesting tos ee how the Republicans react to this to vote of confidence.

It is so great to see when people talk rather than shout--It was so interesting that even Nicholas Maduro of Venezuela said he came to the Summit in a "constructive spirit" despite all the blistering attacks he's had against the United States to mask his own profound challenges.    It was also fun to see Rafael Correa of Ecuador reflect upon what President Obama noted to be "lessons of history".

It is ever so fun to be witness to it all as our journey in #Outsiders continues:
