Syria's disintegration is continuing in a major way. Daesh (also known as ISIL/ISIS) controls almost 116,000 Square Miles of Territory in Iraq and Syria. What is even more disturbing is reports that Russia and Iran have begun withdrawing resources from Syria--including leaving Bashar Assad's War Room in Damascus as underlined in this tweet released earlier:
+Haaretz הארץ is also reporting that the Syrian Army has ceased to exist. This is a developing story as the control of key cities by the regime is in question including Damascus itself. One interesting question is whether Daesh will actually survive a post-Assad era.
