Nepal's Transformation
I had the good fortune to visit Nepal a number of years ago. At the time, our family and friends stayed at one of the newest hotels in Katmandu. However, for the past ten years, Nepal went through a massive insurgency which ultimately resulted in the 240-year Shah Dynasty coming to an end. BBC is reporting that Gynedera Shah, the former King, is leaving the palace today for the last time. Another era is coming to a close. I wish the people of Nepal well as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
