More on Iraq....

While working, I have been watching "Return to the Land of Wonders..." which documents the struggle to draft the temporary Iraqi Constitution after the US invasion of 2003. Here is the link: http://www.arabfilm.com/item/357/. In 2004, times were better. But, one could still sense the desparation and the frustruation, yet the hope and the aspirations of the Iraqi people. How things have changed in three years. I am with Senator Hagel when he has referred to the President's "New Way Forward" as Alice in Wonderland. I don't know what the President and the Adminstration is thinking...but I guess ordinary faces like me are not supposed to know.
