Over the last number of months, I have looked forward to Christopher Caldwell's Column in the Financial Times. Although as a Senior Editor at the Weekly Standard, his views are conservative, he still provides an interesting insight (and quite critical at times). In his column in the Saturday, October 21 issue of the FT, he said this:
"...Corruption, Iraq and Mr. Bush's personal unpopularity have left Americans eager to listen to the Democrats. Whether the Democrats will have anything to say to them is another matter..."
November 8th will see how the verdict of the people will turn out....
