Later on this morning, The President is due to announce his "way forward" on Iraq. As I write this, I am listening to Senator Edward Kennedy's speech at the National Press Club that was given today. As an American, whatever the President orders,I will support it. But, this war seems to be never ending. Senator Kennedy wants to reclaim the role of the Congress. Unfortunately, he will not be successful due to the nature of divided government we have. I will listen to the President with an open mind. This election did change everything. The Democrats in Congress, as Senator Kennedy just said, must govern as Democrats and convey the message that they have heard the people--that is us. It is yet to be seen if the Democrats in Congress will live up to the trust placed in them.
