Notations From the Grid (II): On #Iran & #Yemen

The Economist' KAL has depicted the challenge in the Middle East Right now.    Despite Bashar Assad's periodic "declarations", Syria is on its' last breath as a nation and Yemen is being torn apart.  It was of great interest as we here reported in the "Daily Update" on reporting that Iran warned the Houthis not to take over Sanaa.  

The Saudis, in the meantime, have continued their relentless bombing campaign.

Notations From the Grid: On the UK Elections

The UK Election Campaign is continuing in earnest.    What is fascinating to observe is how the Scottish National Party has become the defacto kingmaker--and how its' current leader may well end up breaking up the United Kingdom.

This is an apparent potential outcome--but it is all up in the air:
