#RIP41: Remembering Our 41st President On This National Day of Morning

As America remembers the 41st President of the United States,  we picked this up during our "forays' On the Grid This week which we hereby Present on the National Day of Morning as Declared by President Trump--as we caught these from President Obama's White House Photographer as he remembered 41:

41on41
Below is a poem George Bush’s mother had inscribed inside the Bible she gave to him when he was confirmed in 1938. It was written by Walter Howard and appeared originally in Harper’s Bazaar Magazine:
I would be true, for there are those who trust me,
I would be pure, for there are those who care,
I would be strong, for there is much to suffer;
I would be brave, for there is much to dare;
I would be friend to all, the foe, the friendless,
I would be giving and forget the gift.
I would be humble, for I know my weakness;
I would look up, and laugh and love and lift.

We also picked up this from 1979:
