As 2015 Begins: Notations on the First Week-End of the New Year......

We here @ #Outsiders wanted to wish all a Happy New Year and hope that the New Year has started on a strong note.      It has been a challenging few days yet again, though--as exemplified by the continued carnage in Syria and Iraq, the tragedy in Indonesia and the new years' eve tragedy in China.  It is also worrisome as we reviewed reports of brushfires in Australia.

We wanted to begin this  year here with this "Thought 4 the Week-End" that underscores a sense of hope and optimism we hope all have:

“Today is a brand new day.
A fresh start.
Replace any negativity with positivity.
Think happy thoughts.
Exercise. Drink lots of water. Fill your body with fuel.
Healthy is happy.
Inspire yourself.
Create. Laugh. Play. Love. Learn.
Give someone a compliment. Make a new friend.
Do a random act of kindness. It creates good karma.
Take chances and finally start living life to its fullest.
But no matter what’s thrown at you today,
smile and remember,
tomorrow’s always a fresh new start.”
