Well, I have been silent for about a month. What a month it has been!!!
Karl Rove resigned last week. By all accounts, he built George W. Bush. I caught him on MSNBC this past Sunday. David Gregory asked him about the State of the Republican Party. They had a wide-ranging discussion. One interesting thing that Karl Rove said was that "we won an election no one thought we would win in 2000...." Although Karl Rove is a student of history, he apparently forgot one central fact: The Supreme Court gave the election to Bush. Karl Rove understands what it takes to win. But, his legacy will be a mixed one. We'll see....we have some excitement that we're due to enter to.
