Bravo Tom Friedman and David Brooks

I just got done seeing them on Meet the Press. Not withstanding how Bill O'Reilly constantly points out the "culture" war that is going on, they told the truth...they told us WHY Iraq is a failure and the disservice done by the Bush Adminstration. Iraq is falling apart and the only folks who seem not to publicly acknowledge it are the folks who are running our government right now. There was also another interesting factoid that Newt Gingrich talked about: Out of 1000 people working in the US Embassy in Baghdad (the biggest in the world) only 8 individuals speak fluent Arabic. How can we be effective if we can't even communicate? While this debate continues, the carnage in Iraq goes on.
