Another Surprise From Iran

The government in Tehran never seems to run out of surprises. It has just been announced by Ahmadijenad's spokesman that the Iranian President has written to President Bush seeing to resolve differences. Whatever one may think of Mr. Ahmadinejad, it is a pretty bold move. If President Bush agrees, it will be the opening many Iranians have yearned for. If President Bush does not, it will give the government in Tehran ammunition to state to the world that "we tried...". So, it will be interesting to see how the White House reacts. As of now, the story had not even hit CNN, FOX or AP. It was just over Reuters, BBC and of course, IRNA (the Islamic Republic News Agency).
