South Africa is starting down a dangerous path

Africa's powerhouse, South Africa, is starting down a dangerous path. This comment from the South African Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, posted on the BBC, that the pace of reform should be speeded up - as in neighbouring Zimbabwe, where most white-owned land has been seized by the state is bothersome. She goes on to say that "There needs to be a bit of oomph. That's why we may need the skills of Zimbabwe to help us," she said. What skills? Destroying an economy? Half the people starving? And blaming the world for your woes while the elite gets richer? There has to be equity, but not at the cost of what the New South Africa was built on. I wonder what Nelson Mandela thinks of what his successors are thinking of doing. It is just disappointing!!!
